Set: When a video goes out of view = Pause all videos. The two videos below must behave differently — that is the whole point of this page.
A — autoplaying (nobody pressed play)
B — visitor-started (press play yourself)
scroll past both, then come back up
Expected
- A resumes by itself when it comes back into view.
- B stays paused — you started it, so it waits for you.
Also worth trying: if your theme or a plugin has its own Play button outside the player, a video started that way counts as autoplay, not as you pressing play — so it will resume like A. That is expected, and it is the behaviour most likely to surprise a site owner.
